Back to the Future: Face-to-Face and Beyond

Proposals are now being accepted for presentations that address the conference theme including, but not limited to, the topics below. Presenters can choose between a full 45 minute session or a 20 minute mini-session.

  • We have returned to face-to-face classes. What pedagogical adjustments have you made, considering all of the changes we have seen in the world? {Return to Face-to-Face}
  • Students often disappear from our courses, face-to-face and online. How do we keep our students engaged?  What can we do to connect with our students who may be mentally and physically miles away from us? {Engagement}
  • Mathematics was used in many ancient civilizations. How can we incorporate some of the historical aspects of mathematics into present day and future society? {Mathematics – History and the Future}
  • Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. How do we start to break down the visible and invisible mathematics barriers in our classrooms? {Equity}

20 minute Student Presentations are also being accepted.

Proposals will be accepted through January 13, 2023.
