Meet the Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 Mentors!

Zarina Adetifa | Mentor

Zarina goes by she/her pronouns and is a junior marketing major. What she loves about being a mentor is having the outlet to positively impact out generation. Seeing mentees come into the program with a relatively narrow leadership mindset and leaving with an expansive one will always be rewarding.

Khue Nguyen | Mentor

Khue goes by she/her pronouns and is a junior computer science major. She loves being a mentor because she gets to know her mentees better and watch them grow over the semester as well as working alongside with other student leaders. A fun fact about her is that she used to play the clarinet in the marching band!

Kyla Issacs | Mentor

Kyla is a junior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Media Entrepreneurship. A fun fact about her is that she creates lifestyle and college related content on TikTok and YouTube. She is excited to mentor future student leaders and see them grow throughout the program!

Aryanna Blount | Mentor

Aryanna goes by she/her pronouns and is a sophomore mass media major. A fun fact about her is that she has over 15 plants in her dorm and loves to sing while tending to them. She loves being a panther leap mentor because she loves being able to educate other people and help them grow and succeed in their endeavors.

Mekylah Peters | Mentor

Mekylah goes by she/her pronouns and is a sophomore mathematics major. A fun fact about her is that she is good at every match subject except geometry.

Aeva Jones | Mentor

Aeva goes by she/her pronouns and is a sophomore film and media major. A fun fact about her is that she has danced since she was two years old, competitively and recreation.

Nastacia Pass | Mentor

My name is NaStacia (Staci). My pronouns are she/her/her. I am a junior and a nursing major. A fun fact about me is that I had a make a wish as a child and I love being a mentor because it is so rewarding seeing my mentees succeed after the program.

Alexis Hall | Mentor

Alexis goes by she/her pronouns and is a sophomore biological sciences major. A fun fact about her is that she is from Atlanta and her dream job is to work for the CDC. She loves being a mentor because it allows her to share her experiences through the leap program with others and meet wonderful people.

Eryn Comer | Mentor

Eryn goes by she/her pronouns and is a junior public health major. A fun fact about her is that she can name all of the US States alphabetically off the dome.

 

 

Yasmine Anderson | Mentor

Yasmine is a junior computer science major. A fun fact about her is that she has lived in Italy for 8 months. 

Taylor Norman | Mentor

Taylor goes by she/her pronouns and is a junior film and media major. She enjoys watching mentees learn more about themselves through the program and hopefully fulfilling a job position of their desire. She also enjoys travelling and trying new things.

Paris Beneby | Mentor

Paris goes by she/her pronouns and is a sophomore anthropology major. A fun fact about her is that she really likes roller skating and her favorite book series is Mortal Instruments.

 

Zakira Coney| Mentor

Zakira (Kira) goes by she/her pronouns and is a 3rd year Finance Major. She loves being a mentor because she wants to help others and make a positive impact.

Aidan Quinn | Mentor

Aidan goes by he/him pronouns and is sophomore majoring in Applied Linguistics. He loves being a mentor because they generally love teaching, but also love the communities created in the program.

Brooklyn Crawford | Mentor

Brooklyn goes by she/her pronouns and is a junior majoring in Middle levels of Education. She loves being a mentor because of the community building and unique opportunities. She loves that she is able to connect to others and create as safe place for her mentees 

Ariana Williams | Mentor

Ariana loves being a mentor because of the people that she has met. The other mentors as well as the mentees make the experience worth it.
