With black and white paper, we were to create two mirrored images that illustrated figure/ground reversal. In one, black shapes will compose 50% of the image while in the other, white shapes will compose 50% of the image. The goal was equal activation of the negative and positive space.

A second arrangement was containing at least one of our original shapes and shape(s) that were traded to us by a classmate. We were still only allowed to use three shapes in this arrangement but could cut or alter the shapes in order to make the arrangement activate the space in an interesting way.
