Which Came First?, September 2021
Toothpicks, hot glue, boiled egg
The goal for this project was to create something out of toothpicks that would protect a boiled egg from breaking when the art piece was dropped from several feet in the air. I had several sketches before deciding to go with a chicken-shaped piece, which I thought would be amusing because of the whole “which came first; the chicken or the egg” argument. In the end, the egg did crack, but the project itself was a new experience for me.
