In this blog, I will talk about our past, present, and future as a country through pieces of literature. I insert my own works of paintings that go with every individual poem. The paintings and the poems share themes of multitudity and send a similar message. I chose the following poems because of harmony. They combine contradicting ends simultaneously to make a point of progress. In this project, I will be analyzing different themes of American culture and identity through pieces of literature across different eras.
