In CURVE

This was my first week really working in CURVE.  I was able to interact with more SIF’s and librarians, getting to know their specialties and projects they are working on.  Just interacting in the space with these individuals opened my own research to new resources and approaches.

While providing support in CURVE, I had several students and student groups wander in to see what the space was about and how they could utilize it. Many eyes lit up as I demonstrated the capabilities of the InteractWall, the bloomberg station and the workgroup areas.  Each student had a different idea for how they could utilize the space, possibly taking their own research to another level.

Although not super busy, I can see the influence CURVE will have on various disciplines and student projects over the coming semester.  Once student groups and faculty take the time to use the space once I am convinced they will be hooked and will look for projects to be framed with the capabilities of CURVE in mind.

Outside of CURVE, I also continued working on ArcGIS Online, WikiTools, and Interactive D2L Quizzes, mainly gathering important data for larger websites or projects.  Although still in the beginning stages, all of these projects are beginning to come together.
