• There are multiple sections of the library
  • There are two libraries
    • Each have their separate entrances but they are also connected so they can be accessed from inside.
    • The main library, Candler library, and the part where all the books are is known as the stacks.
• There are 10 floors
  • The floors are organized by volume. The first floor being the loudest, the tenth being the quietest.
  • First floor
    • Coffee shop
    • Chairs, tables, and white boards for students to use.
    • section to practice presentations
      • there are screens to display your powerpoint or media, lamps to fix your lighting, an record yourself to see how you did.
  • Fourth floor
    • media library
      • Media advertisement
      • Computers to play dvds, video cassettes, and record players.
      • Display of ancient media devices
      • Private study/  lecture rooms
  • Fifth- tenth floors
    • After fourth floor no food is allowed
    • Stacks (books)
    • Small desks to the sides for private studying/ some can be reserved for a semester
• Candler Library
  • Architecture is very luxurious
  • There are various statues displayed throughout, and also small designs of certain places.
  • The book shelves and tables are wooden
  • Books/ newspapers are located here
  • The architecture gives the impression of a sort of law school or court room
• People
  • Must check-in in the front
    • If not from school must sign in and show id
  • Many people are usually on the first floor because they usually are studying in groups, talking or having a snack
  • Very few people up in the 5th – 10th floor
  • Mostly people on their computers
  • A lot of people go to Candler library to study mainly; not a lot of them use the resources in the library.
