Bodies are constantly being policed by the people around us, by social media and by what is deemed as acceptable in society today. This is especially true when it comes to people’s nipples. Although they might look different on each body, essentially, nipples are the same on men, women, non-binary and transgender people. Through photographing people’s chests, this series seeks to desexualize the female nipple, while bringing attention to the diverse body shapes, imperfections, tattoos, piercings, hair and scars that exist on bodies, those of which that are not broadcast by the media but should still be celebrated normalized.
