Hail and Farewell

This month is a busy one as we say goodbye and good luck to several veteran NeuroLearn Lab members, Anna Creighton, Jerome Daltrozzo, and Julie Trapani; and hello and welcome to two new ones, Tamika Crane and Kelly Pena! Lots of changes, but off to a great start this school year!

Congratulations to undergraduate research assistant and recent GSU graduate, Julie Trapani! Her honors thesis entitled, “The Relationship Between Sequence Learning, Home Environment, and Language Ability in Children,” that she submitted last semester was officially accepted by the Honors College. Well done, Julie!

Congratulations to NeuroLearn Lab undergraduate research assistants, Julie Trapani and Marjorie Freggens, who both graduated with Distinction this week. In addition, Julie earned the Outstanding Psychology Honors Student Award. Outstanding!

What We Do
We are a research laboratory in the Psychology Department at Georgia State University, directed by Dr. Joanne Deocampo. We seek to investigate the neurocognitive mechanisms of learning and language development.
