I interview Taryn Anchrum, a GSU student.
What are you currently studying at GSU and why?
T: I am studying Philosophy with a pre-law concentration with an entertainment media management minor. I chose this specific major because philosophy majors tend to do well on their LSATS test, which you take to get into law school and I want to do that and become an entertainment lawyer.
Are you apart of any organisations on campus?
T: I am currently apart of Panther Entertainment Group and I am the president of it.
How do you find the PEG organised?
T: I find it organised well, of course with every organisation there is work to be done but from how long we have been and what we are today I think it is organised well.
Do you find it difficult to stay on top of everything with projects, with things with PEG?
T: Of course it is a bit difficult because I am a senior and especially I am the president of an organization it is sometimes hard to juggle school, work, peg, making sure I’m on top of assignments, but I am also on time for work or well rested enough from work in order to come back here (PEG studio) to make sure everything is running smoothly. It can be a bit of a struggle but nothing that I can’t handle.
What do you think of social media? Do you like it or think it’s a lot of work?
T: From a consumer stand point not necessarily using it for a business stand point, I think its cool, its the only thing I use growing up. I started with myspace, then facebook, then twitter, instagram, and now every other app that is coming out. It is a great source of entertainment but it is also a toxic source of entertainment. Which I am trying to limit myself using.
