In order to be a successful online student, I believe that are three major things that should be taken into consideration.
#1 would be to have good time management. As college students many of us juggle a lot on our plates like jobs, families and extra curricular activities. But, at the end of the day school work is important and not doing your work is only harmful to your own education.
#2 would be to stay proactive in online discussions. These open forums are here for us to get help and interact with classmates that can only be beneficial in an online course. In a online classroom environment, if you don’t give feedback you won’t be heard and could possibly loose participation points.
#3 Always look ahead at upcoming assignments to stay ahead. Reading the syllabus is key. It lays out an exact outline of exactly how the class will go so it would be impossible to fail unless you never take a look at it!
