This week for my portfolio update, I focused on removing unnecessary text from my pages. I also drafted more creative headers or templates to enhance the visual appeal. To showcase my talents in a diverse way, I’m working on creating more text-based content for my page, including poems, screenplays, and more. Additionally, I’ve begun elaborating on the photos I’ve taken and plan to update their descriptions next week. I have also been asking for help from my sister who has coded with this site on templates to find something that fits the brand I want to curate. A lot of this week was spent doing research on my ideas to improve it over the weekend and next week. 

I spent some time this week researching different website templates. My goal is to make my portfolio website distinct from my blog. I’m looking for ways to achieve a uniform and professional look, similar to other high-quality websites I’ve encountered.

Next week, I plan to update my homepage with a clearer image. I’m currently searching for a high-resolution image that resizes well for the designated space.

This week, I focused on updating my website. To begin, I cataloged outstanding tasks. I initiated the process by enriching my skills section with content. For instance, under photography, I showcased various examples such as sports, graduation, and wedding photography. Ensuring that the images maintained their true proportions within the section was my next challenge. Subsequently, I delved into elucidating my language proficiency percentages, utilizing Gemini to craft professional terminology. My primary aim in refining my website is to foster collaboration and attract potential employers’ attention.

In the upcoming week, I plan to delve deeper into enhancing my photo captions, aiming for a more polished website aesthetic rather than a blog-like appearance. Additionally, I augmented the portfolio and upcoming projects sections with relevant photos. Moving forward, I intend to elaborate further on my forthcoming projects.

I also devoted time to enhancing the website’s functionality by editing code in response to this week’s email prompt.

Looking ahead to my goals for next week, I aspire to expand my future objectives, incorporating more multimedia elements such as plays, videos, and social media integration. Drawing inspiration from various YouTube videos, I seek to refine the skills listed on my website to better align with employers’ expectations, eliminating filler content in favor of genuinely valuable skills.
