Week 9: 1st Weekly Update

Hey y’all, 

This week my business partners and I had a photoshoot for our brand. We went out to a neighborhood park on the south side this past Saturday. We had two photographers at all times. Alliyah and McKenzie (my business partners) alternated taking photos when they weren’t behind the camera, and we had another colleague taking pictures from a different angle. We were all very involved in the process. I helped with the setup and held the reflector when I wasn’t behind the camera. It was our very first project pertaining to building our collective portfolio. It was really fun. I’ve included some of the raw images in this post. We plan to edit them sometime next week.

I plan to spend some time today and next week tinkering with the layout of my portfolio. I’m very pleased with the hero screen and how it looks, but I need to figure out a different style for the actual layout. I’m also still trying to code a better navigation menu. I really want the navigation menu to lead to a different webpage for each piece of the portfolio. I don’t like having everything on one page. Hopefully the work isn’t too difficult. Using ChatGPT to code everything has made it a much easier process. I’m excited to get to the finished product.
