My name is Malhea Smith and I am a senior at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. I am majoring in Film and Digital Media and pursuing a minor degree in Marketing. With these degrees, I hope to learn the technical aspects of filmmaking and apply them practically as an Art Director or Cinematographer. I currently am a student at Georgia Film Academy, taking Editing and Visual FX makeup courses to build skills for on-set use. I think taking the time to learn additional crafts and always being a student of film facilitates better, innovative filmmaking that could ultimately impact the world.
