This piece is based on a story I heard from my grandfather’s brother. When they were children, they went exploring in the woods behind their house. While exploring, they found a a hole with a blanket inside. My grandfather jumped in the hole, pulled back the blanket and found…a dead body! In less than a second, he jumped out and ran, leaving his brother behind. Take this with a grain of salt, though, because the brother that ran away changes based on which brother tells the story.
