Where is the Wealth?

“We equate wealth with “net worth,” the sum total of your assets minus liabilities” – http://inequality.org/wealth-inequality/

With many of us living pay check to paycheck and living off of minimum wage, we do not have any wealth.

it may also cost more to be poor then it is to have access to large sums of money and resources. If you do not consistently  have proper access to medical care, due to being unable to pay for medical insurance then paying for each doctor visit and for prescription drugs does add up.

Without enough money to pay for a more well rounded education you would be unable to acquire any transferable work skills or take the classes necessary to land you a higher paying job.

this obvious difference in income makes “making it” in america close to impossible. Then if your a person of color well the affects are almost catastrophic, there may be no real way to make it on a $20,000 dollar income and without the proper resources you may never earn more then your parents.

which is why is problem needs to be addressed. America is one of the wealthiest countries in the world offers no assistance for citizens living below the poverty line.
