Being poor in America is a very large issue that goes over looked simply because people imagine life here to be the best. However that is not the truth, there are millions of people that live in the United States with jobs and homes that are both poor and hungry.
We are constantly bombarded with images of other countries
these are two photos of Brazil, were the difference in equality is very obvious
but when placed to images of the slums here in America we can hardly tell the difference
The Image in the bottom right almost looks like a giant prison, why would anyone want to live there
we have to face the reality that hunger and poverty do exist within the The U.S, that it is possible to have a consistent source of income, a home and rights but still live in poverty.
