When I was first introduced to this project, I wanted to make a poster that I could relate to on a personal level and instantly, I knew that I wanted to work with the topic of suicide.
Through the process of brainstorming, I narrow down my general topics to something a little more specific by considering who my target audience should be, as well as the message I would want my target audience to understand. While creating my poster, the incorporation of a hand-made element as well as Photoshop allows me to learn and adapt to another set of skills. I feel that this project does a good job at introducing me to physically creating art either by drawing, painting and/or crafting as well as digitally, with Photoshop, and it allows me to figure out what I, myself feel comfortable working with and what type of media I would enjoy.
