Atlanta Writing Theme

So I have not chosen a theme at this point. I was not expecting to have to write about Atlanta. I will most likely write something about the Atlanta art scene; it is the only topic I can kind of relate to. Even then, writing about art is maddeningly boring. Atlanta is not a profoundly interesting city. You have office spaces, parking decks, rich neighborhoods, and run down crime-riddled streets. On top of all of that there is a film and hip hop industry. Yay. If I decide to write on the theme of art in Atlanta, my options for topics are maybe just museums, galleries, and graffiti? Once again not very interesting writing subjects. Other than art, I am clueless as to what I would be interested in writing about for four months. Perhaps I should create my own series of Atlanta themed art work this semester and write about that process. Wait, that sounds dull and tedious. After I spend a multitude of hours drawing or painting, the last thing I want to do is write about it for two more hours. Hopefully these pessimistic ramblings present my current dilemma in an acceptable manner. I am anticipating that this class will make my semester seem about three times longer.
