Engagement

“In many workplaces, there are now up to five coexisting generations, ranging from baby boomers to Generation Z who are just entering the workforce. This generational diversity is causing significant shifts in traditional approaches to leadership, learning, and workplace culture, according to a recent report sponsored by Workday. Specifically, the rise of millennial employees into leadership roles and the entrance of Generation Z into the workforce are driving these changes”. – Workday

“To harness a company’s most valuable resource – its individuals – a comprehensive comprehension of each generation’s unique perspective and demands is crucial. With younger professionals like Generation Zs and Millennials set to take up leadership roles shortly, maintaining their commitment at work assumes primary significance since their decisions will have far-reaching consequences for organizations for years to come. Consequently, it has become imperative to identify their specific workplace needs and address them accordingly”. – Workday

Engagement in a Multi-Gen environment is very beneficial for everyone. Similarities and differences between each other help grow throughout the workforce. Millennials taking a stand into leadership is the future for the workforce because now a days millennials benefit through ideas for companies, individuals, and others who relate to how they feel things need to be done. Even though Millennials are looked down upon the older generation, we have to learn that we can benefit from each other in many ways.
