I am an aspiring art therapist returning to Georgia State University to complete my art credits to apply for my master’s program. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in art history that I received from Kennesaw State University in 2018. I believe in the healing power of art and enjoy exploring different mediums for self-expression.
During the height of the pandemic, I taught myself how to make polymer clay earrings and found that to be a relaxing and healthy coping mechanism for what was going on in the world. I’ve recently discovered a love of crocheting which also helps me to calm my mind. Art in all forms are healing and I hope that one day I can help change the lives of many by helping them cope with the power of art.
