Madison Dedmon is an aspiring journalist and news anchor.

A native of California, Madison Dedmon currently resides in Atlanta and attends Georgia State University.

She is a junior pursing a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in political science.

Actively involved on campus, she contributes her talents to GSTV, a student- run television station. She is a reporter for Primetimesportz and Panther report.

Madison also helps with filming the shows. Whether running the sound board or the tricaster, it is her job to make sure every show runs smoothly.

She also is a part of HerCampus Youtube Team for Georgia State creating and editing content that applies to college students.

When she is not on campus, Madison is extremely passionate about giving back and volunteering. She is involved in the Pajama Program where she reads to children and gives them a pair of pajamas. She also is a member of the Miracle Network.

Madison is currently an intern for Seacrest Studios. She puts on weekly radio shows for patients at the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. Here, she is able to combine her love of journalism with volunteering.

After graduation in December 2019, her goal is to work for either CNN or E! News as a reporter.
