This project tasked us with developing a understanding of linear perspective and atmospheric perspectives. I enjoyed making these drawings. It was refreshing to be able to use art tools (Graphite Pencils) that I am familiar with. I had trouble understanding how each vanishing point should or should not align with every object shown in its surrounding. The easiest sketch was creating the one point perspective behind a local mall. I feel was able to create the proper allusion of the street and its surrounding fading into one direction. I most struggle with using the ink wash art form. Typically when mistakes are made, I can erase small and or big mistakes. When using wash, you must start over compete if the mistakes is not able to be covered up. I found myself redoing it many times, ad even still I was unable to properly match the vanishing points with objects. Overall I enjoyed drawing in this art style. It was much more comfortable for me, and I would love to continue using it so I can prefect my underrating and ability to use make two point perspectives.
