The course Foundations of Instructional Design and Technology serves as an introduction and an overview to Instructional Design and Technology as a discipline. It covers historical foundations, current practices, and future directions. It provides students with the big picture of IDT while laying foundations for other courses in the Learning Technology program. This e-Book project allows students to synthesize and expand upon content learned in the class.
