The “Sequential Narrative” project was a lot of fun. I was happy to integrate both my english story telling talents with my visual talents. I approached this project with imagination and practicality. Because I wasn’t as confident as I wanted to be with drawing perspective drawings, I kept the landscape of my narrative relatively simple. I utilized the value and line techniques taught to us by Prof Almebik. However, I didn’t get too adventurous with the backgrounds. Here, you will see a repeat of pictures from the “3 Drawings Project” because the two assignments were connected and meant to serve as progressional steps to the “Sequential Narrative” Project.
My narrative is about a young warrior by the name of Venusia. She’s chosen by fate to be the “Warrior of Love” representing the warrior tribe of Venus. She grows up being trained to establish love and develop her spiritual and physical gifts over time. She gets her first mission to go to Earth on a mission to re-integrate love in to the energetic field of the planet. When she gets there she becomes very sad to see the pollution, and the negative messages and institutions built up around the world. After spending time in nature she realizes that she was the tools to fulfill her mission. In the end, she accomplishes her mission using her “Love Whip” and she finds peace in knowing that her training wasn’t in vain and that she did was she was born to do.
