My inspiration is drawn from many different artists. I tend to observe the work of local artists and artists new to the art scene. My inspiration comes from artists that look like me and share the types of stories I seek to tell in my own works. More specifically, one of my favorite artists is Brionya James. I appreciate her works of BIPOC and the various mediums that she uses as well. I love sci-fi and galactic fantasy film, artwork, and cartoons. I also love animated films and shows that cater to minorities and BIPOC, such as “COCO” by Pixar and “Black Sandz” an animated series created by Black Sands Entertainment.
