The classroom should be an environment that fosters creative thought and academic exploration.  Therefore, contract between the parents, students, and teacher is essential to reduce conflict and increase collaborative learning.

Students are expected to:

• Respect everyone
• Follow direction of adults
• Enter the classroom quietly and prepare for the lesson
• Bring materials (pencils, books, paper, completed assignments) to each class session
• Leave the classroom orderly with desks in place and floors clear
