CETLOE’s Learning Design team has one core aim: to help faculty develop the best courses they possibly can for their students. We do this by helping faculty transform their teaching into an online environment that maintains teaching goals while addressing the particularities of students’ online behavior.

The first element of online course design is ensuring that the strengths of an instructor’s teaching method find a voice in the online setting

Understanding student behavior online entails discovering their goals and motivations, while also understanding the strengths and weaknesses of online platforms to address those goals.

Lastly, we know that the greatest challenge for those new to online learning is understanding how to develop relationships that are integral to learning in a new format. This final puzzle piece will ensure that you and your students thrive online.
