Dustin W. Edward’s article, “Framing Remix Rhetorically: Toward a Typology of Transformative Work” talks about remix culture and its importance in the world of rhetoric. In the article, Edwards explains that remix can be useful because it allows a person to take something and apply their own meaning and understanding. Edwards mentions Mitt Romney’s “binders full of women” comment and the redistribution of an already known comment and engages conversation. This Bernie Sanders meme reminds me of that same idea.
