Week 7 – HTML and CSS

Over the past two weeks, I have been diving into HTML and CSS tutorials from the provided websites as well as through my own research. Coding has never been my strong suit, but I enjoy puzzles, and working with HTML and CSS has been an intricate yet enlightening puzzle. Consulting outside resources deepened my understanding of both platforms. I now grasp that HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) provides structure and organization for a website by delineating the information. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) brings stylistic flourishes and visual presentation to a website by decorating the HTML elements. Used in tandem, HTML and CSS enable me to construct a website that is both neatly arranged and aesthetically appealing for users. Through this immersive learning experience, I have gained essential web development skills and knowledge that will aid me in future projects.
