For this week, I wrote an opinion piece on the growth of soccer in the United States. 

I wrote it because of the USMNT’s three-peat win in the CONCACAF Nations League Final. I believe that the sport continues to grow and mature in the U.S. and it’s time that others saw that also. 

I asked Perplexity AI to help me format the writing into HMTL. I don’t particularly like how it looks, so I do believe I will be tweaking it and doing something similar to what I have done with the F1 social media graphics. 

I think I will go this route because the overall look and navigation of the portfolio look better. It will also showcase the overall aesthetic I would like to have for all my content. 

I am still deciding what I would like to do next week for the portfolio. I might start with creating graphics for other sports. Perhaps I will do a mock-up of what content I would produce if I were to run the socials for different sports teams or create ideas I would do for the media content of certain teams. I would focus the content ideas on where I mainly see teams promote, Youtube or TikTok, as well as other places teams could try to gain outreach. 

I would write again for next week, but I want to have a balance between writing and graphics, seeing as for Week 14 I will be writing about the SheBelieves Cup matches I will be attending.
