The Democracy Poster was a project where I knew what I wanted to do as soon as it was assigned. To me, democracy is where everyone has a voice. Earth represents where everyone lives, and I used photoshop to make a concept of my idea. To create the poster, I printed out a blue sphere with “voice” repeatedly typed in the shape of continents around the globe. I put the image on an 11″ x 14″ size black paper and used it to represent earth in space rather than on a white background. For countries where democracy is not present, I made the words “voice” appear red rather than green.
