Memes can be considered art. I think social media produces art daily, and the scope of what is thought to be art is evolving all the time. I think memes are a fun way to make light of situations, and shine light in situations that are difficult to discuss. Memes can be political, social, fun, or anything else they need to be. 
Internet art, whether its on social media, or some other website, is supposed to convey a message. That is the purpose of art, memes are just a funny way to convey a message.
Lol I like your meme too, when you in a room of people you don’t like so you just sip to yourself, haha. I agree that social media produces art daily especially for the viewers of this generation today. I also love your point that meme’s are made to make light of any situation because I find that to be very true and I have so many screenshots in my phone of meme’s that reflect my personal life.
I agree with you that memes can be a fun way to make light of certian situations. There are a lot that seem to give off a lot of negativity though. I think as a whole, memes tend to be more negative than traditional art.
I think your meme is good I think you are correct about memes being away to express ideas they just do it directly by putting the words and ideas directly into the picture.
This is so funny because I have had this happen to me at several events and it is a very awkward feeling. It makes me just want to crawl in a dark hole away from all of those people. This was good and funny at the same time!
