Hi! This is my sequential narrative assignment assigned assigned by professor Alembik. The medium of the piece is croquill ink since I had traouble with it on my previous assignment. I had gotten better through practice and I wanted to display my progress with it.
The goal of this assignment is to show family values through a sequential narrative. Originally it was supposed to be about my grandfather but the subject was changed later in the process. As the story stands in the final, it displays my personal feelings of fear paralyzing my actions to the point where it delays me from doing what I want. This story is an example of me breaking away from my fear through an fanatical and dark moment. I really hope you enjoy!

3 Drawings Assignment
Atmospheric
1 Point
2 Point
These images were apart of my 3 drawings assignment assigned by professor Alembik. Each image represents either 1 point, 2 point or atmospheric perspective. The materials used in the piece include watercolor, crow quill pen and ebony and white color pencils. These images show the hallmarks of my grandfather’s life. Originally it was going to include his time at Nasa and his time New Mexico, however, I wanted to aim for something a bit simple in the pieces. As for the final pieces, they represent his time studying to be an catholic priest, his time spent in retirement with his wife and the time me and him would exploring together.
Compassion Poster
This was my compassion poster assignment for professor Alembik’s Class. The collages were made primarily with dynamic perspective in mind. The goal with both collages were to make the viewer feel as if they were looking out of a window into another’s life. The pieces try to shift the viewer’s emotional perspective on the hardship of choosing a career to a person who is trying to figure out what they are going to do. Ultimately, it is a hard choice to make, especially for artists.
