this project requiried us to select someone we feel compassion for? i chose Black Women. i feel compassion for them because they are labeled as a double minority in america. it  also  follow the sexist tropes  of women getting their hair done. something those outside black women don’t really know. within american the whole standard of beauty has put pressure on black women to grow  up not liking there dark skin, dark eyes and curly hair. i want to promote female black empowerment.
