A Medical Mystery Covered Up

Riverside General hospital had been under scrutiny in the past. When Ramirez died in the care and their medical staff got sick, it would have been extremely bad for the hospital if it ended up having anything to do with hazardous conditions within there walls. According to The ME in charge of Gloria’s autopsy first said she had died of unnatural causes, but when the police came out and said she did die of natural causes the ME immediately flip flopped and claimed she had died of natural causes (BuzzFeedBlue)

About 2 months after her death the case was closed despite the fact it was unclear how she died, why the hospital staff got sick, and why she was even having the initial symptoms. The case was closed without having actually solved anything. This leads some, particularly the Ramirez family, to believe that the county and the hospital are covering something up in order to save face. This would explain why no one really looked into one of the most baffling medical cases in local history, why the corners office was so quick to change their minds about the cause of death, and why the case was closed despite the fact there was no actual evidence to know for sure what happened.
