I was assigned to complete three drawings using three different types of perspectives and media. For this project, I was going to try to draw my living room, my couch, and sand dunes. I took reference pictures of my living room and couch. For my 1-point and 2-point perspective, I used my living room and couch. For atmospheric perspective, I used pictures of the sand dunes that I visited. While doing this project, I found the 1-point perspective to be the easiest to do and the hardest to do the 2-point perspective. Atmospheric perspective was in between as it felt easy in some parts and hard in others. The easiest media was terracotta and white colored pencils, and the hardest was both the crow quill and ink and watercolor pencils. I found it hard to mix the ink or the color evenly when adding water. If I were better at it, I would enjoy using watercolor pencils. It was interesting to see how each type of paper responds to different media. Overall, it was nice experimenting with different media.
