Party Streamers, Cardboard, Hot Glue, Floral Foam Block, Sculpting Wire
This project’s goal is to create a sculpture with multiple of a specific object. In here, our freedom is rather limitless so long as we design and create a form with dynamic/rhythmic textural surface.
My inspiration here was my miniature schnauzer, Ben. The main object I wanted to use is party streamers, there wasn’t any particular reason for this object, just simply the fact that it looked fun to use. However, it got very repetitive having to hot glue the party streamers and cut them up so frequently. Many different methods were used to create the quickest and most efficient way of sticking them all on. Overall, it looks like a piñata and the final came out rather nicely.
