One of my favorite assignments, creating a being out of recycled material and drawing them. Our aim in this project is to create tones and value within our art, but this time we are not allowed to blend the charcoal or create any visible erasure or lines.
I personally like to work on my art with very light lines which greatly helped me create this piece. Being able to add more and more depth and charcoal to my art over time allowed me to create strong values in certain areas that needed it. A prime example of this is in the flower, showing where the creases and shadows lie.
Unfortunately I do not have an image of only the recycled being at the very moment, but once I do I will update this page.
