The sociocultural approach deals directly with the social and cultural environment of ones life to be the influence of behavior. Society is a major influence in this approach because everything they learn is from the society they live on
The practices and knowledge that a human might have affects the way they behave in this approach. For example, a child who lives in an environment that they control, is how their behavior will show to others. That child will behave as if they have the higher authority just because that is how things are when they are in their own environment.
This approach takes in diversity and restrictions placed on some ethnic groups and countries. Some strengths are that it is scientific and easily viewed. A limitation is that it doesn’t take in all the knowledge behind human differences.
