The fifth approach deals with a person’s qualities, the opportunity for growth, and the destiny of one. This approach allows us to believe that humans are able to control their own lives without the influence of the environment. This approach provides people their “free will”. It studies the whole person, not just their behavior. It tries to justify the person as a whole for why they are doing the things they do because of their personality.
The humanistic approach impacts society because it gives an open approach that a human can overcome pain and other feelings on their own with no help from the society-just due to the personality of the person and within theirself.
Strengths for this type of approach would be it gives the human the responsibility for themselves and allows them to find greatness within. It focuses highly on the behavior of that specific person. Some limitations is that it is biased and it lacks a lot of the views from the other approaches.
