Status for next observing

Dunwoody Public Observing – 09/20/2024: Still Go

Note from the Astronomer: Things look pretty decent for tonight. It’s stating between 30 and 50% cloud cover. So, my plan is to open up and try to get some viewing done.

Home to the Georgia State University – Perimeter College Dunwoody Observatory. Currently it houses a Celestron 14 inch aperture telescope that is used primarily for public and student viewing of bright celestial objects. If you wish to schedule a visit, please reach out to Dr. Jay Dunn (jdunn1@gsu.edu).
