Professional biography

Jordan H. Clements

Jordan Clements is a Journalism student at Georgia State University. Her focused study is Public Relations, but she takes high interest in marketing as well. Clements currently works as a nanny and brand ambassador.

Clements attended Woodland high school. She graduated with Honors, AP credits and was also named one of the head editors of her school’s journalism program. While attending Georgia State University Clements has been listed on the Dean’s list of the university.

This past summer Clements was given the opportunity to intern at Southern Proper Hospitality Group. While interning at Southern Proper Clements learned diverse information about the back works of a restaurant. She was in charge of the social media responses and updates. She also managed Yelp reviews and replies. Clements also assisted in donation giveaways, marketing promotions and menu item ideas.

Clements also has also taken part in plenty of brand ambassador work. In 2015 she was a brand educator for Vitacoco coconut water. She promoted the healthy product to the Atlanta community by free give aways, deals, and coupons.

Her brand ambassador work continued over into August of 2016, where she was hired as a brand ambassador for Urban Enterprises. Urban Enterprises is a marketing agency of Atlanta. They specialize in event staffing, community and office building distributions, and project managing. Some of their well known clients are Creating Loafing, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, Midtown Alliance and many more! Recently in the summer, Clements was promoted at Urban Enterprises to be a community and office building distributor.

Working and attending school can be a tedious habit. However, Jordan makes an effort to get her lectures scheduled on two days a week in order to consume the other days with her work load. This plays a major role in her time management as well as her income.

Clements will be interning with her current employer starting in January. This internship will be for class credit and will count towards her degree.

Clements owes a lot of her success to the encouragement and guidance her family, boyfriend and friends offer her. They have helped her out tremendously in her career in regards to her future. Clements’ anticipated graduation date is May 2018. Although she does not have a set career laid out just yet, she intends to work hard in order to discover what job best suites her and her future.
