My name is Jana Clark, and I’m originally from California but moved to Georgia to finish my Film degree at Georgia State University. I’m currently a Senior here at GSU and will graduate in December with a Bachelor’s in Film and a Minor in English. I’m currently undergoing the application process for the Master’s program in Moving Images, which I hope to start in January. Film is not just a passion project for me; it has become a way of life.
My goal after receiving my MA would be to teach screenwriting at a college level. I love the writing process and the creative nature you have to commit to to develop a script. If I had the chance to teach the younger generation the tips and techniques I’ve learned along the way, I’d be honored.
When I’m not busy with school or work, you can find me with my DSLR camera. I was introduced to photography at a young age and believe it has helped me transition into moving images. Capturing candid moments is one of my favorite aspects about photography. For it is those moments that reveal a truth that will live on forever.
