Today, 9/14/16, Drew, Max, Kyle, and I got together between classes at the Honors College building to help each other understand and work on the remaining two annotated bibliographies that most of us had not yet completed. First we just talked about what they were to make sure we all had a clear understanding. Then Drew, having already done his, helped clarify exactly how to word everything and make sure we got the full amount of credit possible. We all peer edited each others annotations and sources to make sure they were good. After that, we discussed the next project, built environment descriptions. We talked about where we wanted to go for our individual sites and we even decided we all want to kind of go everywhere. This study session was helpful to me because even though I basically understood how to do the annotations and what the BED are going to require, it was nice to solidify my plans and reinforce my understanding of the assignments.

On 9/12/16, Noah, Max, Miranda, Kai, Sedona, and I met in the community room in the Commons. We discussed how to do our first annotated bibliography entry. Some of us had never done one before, but some of us just never used Zotero to do so. We were not completely understanding how many sources we needed to have before class, but as a group we figured it out. We introduced each other to new search engines for scholarly sources and helped each other navigate Zotero as well.

 We worked in person to work on our annotated readings. This was helpful because we helped each other understand the different aspects of the assignment.
