Medium: paint, printouts, newspaper, magazine, and wrapping paper
In this project, we are to push these different objects that we find around our house or paint to create a self-portrait of ourselves. This portrait is a collage of wrapping paper that I found a cut out of my face and magazine and newspaper clippings. I used paint to make red in my hair and green mixed with brown to make my collarbone. The green and brown were on my shoulder to represent the rest of my body. This was the first collage piece I’ve ever done, so I was a little unfamiliar with the medium.
