Institute On Neuroscience (ION)

The Institute on Neuroscience (ION) is a summer-long research program, sponsored in the past by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The program seeks high school students who excel in science and have an interest in research.

The Center for Behavioral Neuroscience at Georgia State University has received funding for Summers 2024 and 2025 from the Army Educational Outreach Program to offer the program for students identified as underserved in STEM. The application window for Summer 2024 is Wednesday, March 6 through Monday, April 8.
