This is an artifact that is built in a ‘built-in environment.’ Used to symbolize the environment and establish the mascot of Georgia State.

What do you think of this as an “artifact” not an “image”? It’s not a built environment in and of itself, but it’s part of an external built environment, right? It’s an image, too, of course. Given the course goals, what do you think?
I think this artifact’s location and meaning help shape student’s attitude toward our school; it gives us a sense of pride. The location is significant because it’s near the student center and plaza where most students need to pass by. And its purpose serves as an established mascot and true school pride.

I wonder how this artifact shapes the behavior or attitudes of the space. What do you think?
