The design of the quad is open and spacious to bring people together and there are multiple areas to sit.  There are always tables set up with students selling products, educating, or promoting services which influences the interaction. Plus, you have to walk through here to get to class or the library so avoiding people in this setting is very difficult.
  • Explanation: The evidence shows that unity is promoted through the design of the GSU quad, which encourages social interaction between people.
