- Update the resume of the employee to be promoted
- Contact IIT HR
- Complete IIT Pre-Budget Approval Form
- Complete a Position Review Form (PRF) – PRF is not needed if it has been updated within the last three years.
- When PRF is approved, job will be posted
- Review applications and schedule interviews
- Interview at least three qualified applicants per position
- Request list of 3-4 professional references from final candidate.
- Complete evaluations for each applicant interviewed
- Change the status of each applicant in Taleo
- Select Final Candidate
- Provide list of references to IIT-HR to conduct reference check
- Submit Interview evaluation forms to IIT-HR
- Submit approved copy of approved IIT Budget Form for position that is being filled.
- Contact final candidate to extend verbal offer
- Provide information on final candidate to IIT-HR
